Passed EMT Written Test First Try

Di Lillo

EMT Pocket Prep is great. I paid for the upgraded version and it was the best move I ever made in preparing for my EMT Test. Not only do they prepare you well but the questions in the app are written very similarly to the questions on the test.

Passed:)

I never leave reviews for anything but this app is truest worth every cent. Took the NREMT without studying and failed, so I bought this app and the next time I passed:) Studied and practiced all 800 questions till I got them right. This app was very helpful and it basically taught me all the vocab I needed to know - only downfall is that the format of the questions on NREMT are very different. This app made me pass 100% but make sure you read tips on test taking skills for NREMT - questions can be very tricky. Key words are important and this app covers all the info you need to know. I’m now going to purchase the NCLEX for RN app as well!!

Good tool for NREMT Prep

The first time I took the EMT basic exam I failed 2 of the 5 sections. I then decided I needed to study for the exam ( I did this in the wrong order, don’t do what I did). I bought the full version of pocket prep and discovered after going through all 800 questions, that the course I took was way out of date and teaching incorrect methods. This app helped me learn correct practices for the EMT exam and I passed the second time. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the app itself is slow to respond and crashes often. Also on my national exam there were ~8 questions on sickle cell anemia, which wasn’t covered in my class or this exam. All I knew about it was what I retained from 8th grade biology (very little). Overall, a very useful app that helped me get a PASS! Thanks pocket prep!

If you’re on the go, purchase this to prepare yourself for the nationals!

I worked at a restaurant at least 45-50 hours a week and whenever I had the chance to study, I would use this app and whenever I had the chance to study my book I would because it’s always good to get a feel of the book and online testing taking preparation. Depending on how confident you are, especially since I have test taking anxiety, i made sure i reviewed this app and the books before my nationals. This app made it a lot easier to pass my exam!!! Take your time and breath.

Best Decision I’ve Ever Made

I took the NREMT test January 2018 and failed it. Out of the five categories, I did not pass a single one. The day after I found out I failed, I downloaded this app and paid for the premium version (SO WORTH IT)! I retook my NREMT Test in April and I PASSED! I give all of my kudos to this app who helped me go from failing all five categories to passing all five categories! Thank you Pocket prep!! (Another extremely helpful tool is the EMT flash card book by Jeffrey Lindsey. This book was another saving grace of mine!)

Solid

App is a bit glitchy, but it seemed that the questions were mostly solid. I especially liked having page numbers from the textbook listed so I could review in greater depth if I got something wrong. Definitely liked this better than the EMT Crash Course quizzes.

Wow

If you want to feel really stupid, try a quiz prior to schooling. I did and then was concerned. Now that I’ve been using the pocket prep app, my confidence level is rising. My test is in a week and a half! Wish me luck!

Fully prepared - Passed my first try

Just wanted to write this on behalf of my personal experience with pocket prep. This app helped me pass my national on my first try with absolute ease. The questions are worded almost identical to the national registry. My method for studying was that I initiated 100 question tests and wrote down the questions I missed so as to not forget them again. I learned what sections I needed the most work in and studied them in my book. This is a phenomenal app and I would highly recommend it for anyone aspiring to become an EMT and pass their National Registry first try. I will continue to use this app to stay sharp in the future

Worth the purchase

The questions are closer to The National Registry. It seems like their data base of questions helps prevent reading the same old questions over and over. The question of the day is an awesome way challenge yourself. Worth the purchase!!!

Great prep app
