After updating to the latest version I can’t log on or have access to the previous issues I had bought including several special issues. UNACCEPTABLE!

This update is a disaster avoid like the plague! You lose access to older editions, in effect they have been stolen. You also have to have the awful 'optimised' edition with no portrait view and extra spurious rubbish. Will be cancelling my subscription. The person responsible for this update should be sacked. V4.1.1 no better


30 day free trial problem

I signed up for a 30 day free trial about two weeks (less than 30 days) ago. Was able to view the issue once, but now I'm getting a message that says I must purchase the issue to view it. I was planning to look through the free issue again today in order to decide whether or not to continue with the paid subscription. But will have to just cancel instead if I can't review the free trial issue.

DO NOT upgrade! This app is now terrible. I lost all my paid issues, about 20, even the January 2014 one. The FAQ are useless, it DOES NOT work. Info send me back to FAQ. TERRIBLE DO NOT UPGRADE! Lost all issues, not a subscriber but purchased many issues. Lost even the October 2016 I just purchased! Restoring issues only available for subscribers!

Hire better technicians and get a proper functioning app! You are better than this and you loyal subscribers deserve better! I first noticed that they FINALLY added landscape view, then noticed that it doesn't work properly, only shows a single page instead of two. I wrote a nice email to alert them to this. But then I noticed that.MOST of my PAID BACK ISSUES were missing and FAQ had a completely unacceptable "apology" for this. Simply UNACCEPTABLE. Please fix this! Ugh, I love this magazine. I wanted to give one star, but I love the CONTENT so much (loved it for DECADES) that I gave it two. But this is ZERO star tech work.


I've been robbed of time and money

The functionality of the new app may be Ok, but I wouldn't know because I'm still reeling from the fact that I just spent the last hour trying to access my subscription after the icon disappeared from my Newsstand. No instructions there, in iTunes, or in the email confirming my subscription. And the instructions in the app itself, which I had to download after having used Newsstand for years, are incorrect. On top of that, none of my older issues are available. I paid for those. How is this acceptable? I want my money back for my 2015 subscription, and I will certainly not be renewing in 2017.

While this is one of my favorite interiors publications the app is severely lacking when compared to other magazine apps. There is no interactivity and I find it slow compared to others. And don't forget your password! Unlike every other app out there that requires a password, this one has no way for you to reset yours if you forget it. Time for a serious upgrade.
