Looks good, when does wifi ship?
Maple vs. Honey

Love to give this 5 stars but showing off the interface is a dry hump, when is the WiFi module going to ship?? Looks great though, can't wait to get my hands on the real deal.

Does not appear to work with iOS 4.3

Blank screen is all I get, so can't even try the demo. My new Quadra's are being shipped and arrive next week - I want to be able to use this app. Please fix.

Keen to know how it will work... Can't believe no need to buy new product to support a wifi connection.

I get a blank screen on my new IPod touch.

It "ain't" workin' yet....

Nice idea, but maybe too far too soon. Better to put out a product that actually works and then improve on it, than to send out a demo that does nothing.......

Not work

Black screen on ipod Touch 4G

Works like a charm

Works like a charm. Brilliant as a laptop substitute on location. Module also makes it easy to mix in non Skyport compatible flashes. Network thing could be done slightly otherwise as to allow camera to connect through wifi as well with a wft unit.

Works great

Working on my iPhone 4S with latest firmware. Easy to use with clean interface. Elinchrom, as always, knows what they are doing. No freezes or black screens.even on my latest gen iPod touch with iOS5. Seems whatever issues they had are now fixed.

Great concept, needs more serious Elinchrom commitment

The software/system is rough and somewhat unreliable at this point. When viewing all lightheads in the app, the units are displayed in a random order and there is no info like power setting or group number, just some model revision number. So I am running 4 groups, 5 lights total. Can't tell which light is which in that view, you should at least be able to name the units and sort by name or group number. And, it needs to remember the names (at least have choices like KEY, FILL...) The wifi unit has trouble locating all the units reliably. Some times it finds them all, sometimes it does not. I am running all RX units, and for pro equipment, I demand reliability. Not sure if I am going to be able to use this setup for a real shoot. The useful part of the app is where you can adjust the groups as a set of units like using the oncamera skyport. Although, they don't have a group test function or fire all heads function. If they can get they head detection to be reliable and allow you to name the units, along with more ALL and GROUP functions, the setup would be more relevant. I just invested quite a bit in a few more RX units and was hoping this would make my life easier adjusting the lights for the photographer during the shoot, but so far I don't have a warm and fuzzy. Tired of trying to adjust the groups using an extra transmitter in the dark. Elinchrom needs to invest more in the software and overall wifi solution. They could and should do better. Its like the engineer kid's slapped the system together. It's time for some core engineers get involved.
