I contacted the developer and ever since my update to iOS 12, it no longer will provide an elevation.

Used to work, last 10 or so times I’ve tried to use it just get a message to try again in a few minutes as an ad pops up that you can’t close!

Every time I try to get the elevation of a location it says “try back in a few minutes”. Have not been able to get any information from the app.
Simply no longer works

This app use to correlate with some database that permitted it to provide an approximate elevation wherever you moved the cross hairs. Now when you designate a spot on the earth’s surface with the cross hairs and request the elevation, you get a message saying “Please try again in a few minutes.” Unfortunately, you just keep getting that message no matter how long you leave the app open and wait.

I can’t figure out how to check an elevation without being there. I use oxygen and do not do well at high elevations. I want to be able to follow a road through mountains passes as I plan my road trips.
