At the start of each level you are presented with a puzzle. Your job is to place the elevators and stoppers (the square blocks which control when the elevators stop, riders get off, and the elevators reverse) so that the rider gets to his destination without hitting any obstacles or walls.
If you fail, you can edit your solution and try again. As you progress, the levels become more complex and new obstacles are revealed. The first few levels are more of a tutorial (the first two levels have a “solve” option so you can see the theory behind solving a puzzle).
Elevate is not difficult to understand, but it is tough to champion.

Great Concept, Has Flaws

I love the concept of using elevators and various stoppers to navigate a person through each level. However, this game has some major flaws. Sometimes you have to reset the entire level because the person has walked into a wall and the level freezes. Other times, you can set a stopper anywhere on the line, but another will only snap to the nearest line. I really hope they fix these flaws with an update. Also needs detailed instructions/tutorial because it took awhile to figure out how it worked.
