I started doing brain games to, hopefully, avoid or slow down the possible deterioration of brain in my fast approaching senior years. I use Lumosity and Left vs Right. Both are good but there was something missing. The ratings & reviews on Elevate motivated me to install this app. I’m very impressed! Like the other reviews mentioned, I feel like I’m back in school reciting math tables, timed tests, etc. I just have one problem. My headphones don’t work on the listening exercises. I can hear the test “ping” but to hear the voices, I have to have sound coming straight from the iPad. So that limits my use in public areas.

All the tests and explanations have helped me in all angles especially writing & recall. Had a chance to proof something I had written last year. Oh the errors I found! Word choice and brevity are much better now!

I very much enjoy this game. However, on the 7th day of play it completely froze up and I could not get in. I tried all day and only loaded to the blue screen. It was quite frustrating. I had to delete the app and re-download it. But I do love the training every day. I just hope it doesn't freeze again.

This is the perfect app to keep you mentally alert and focused, continue testing yourself, and see great results! Great app!
Very few exercises for the price.

I paid $25 for the trainer (the annual price), and there are only 17 exercises. They are also very basic and easy, and, for the most part, you play them over and over again. This brain trainer is way overpriced, and I would urge anyone not to waste their money on it. There are other trainers on the iTunes Store that are far less expensive and offer more challenging and a wider array of games.
