Old-school fun

The controls seemed a little unweildy at first, but they actually work very well once you get used to them. It's a frantic little game that works well for playing in short bursts. My Japanese is pretty basic, but here's what I think is going on: In 2038, Earth and Gapus are in a space war. Supplies are being dropped to the planet by parachute. Piloting your armored mech "Eggy", you need to grab the supplies before they hit the gound. The "LEFT" number shows how many supplies are left to drop. You want to keep the humans that are running around alive. If you kill them, they will come back to life as Gapus mechs that hurt you. If you run into the mechs or bullets, you lose fuel. You can gain fuel by shooting the mechs and then running into them while they are stunned. You can pass in front of the tanks, just watch out for their bullets. If you run out of fuel, the game is over. Once all the supplies have dropped, the level is complete. You get bonus points for capturing supplies and having humans left alive. There are 3 levels, with 5 stages in each. Controls: Hold down (down-left or down-right) to charge your jump, then release to jump. The longer you hold down the higher you jump. Use arrows to control your jump / fly in midair. Space bar while in the air will shoot downward. To save the game, go to Help, the second tab, on page 1/3. ロード = Load, セーブ = Save.
