I’ve been looking for a good coding app for so long and most of them cost money and have more than I need this is the most perfect app I’ve ever used I love it! Although it would be nice to be able to purchase something like remove ads because I would like to support the app.
So I installed this because I was looking for a plain text editor. I created a file and started typing. There is no "save" button in the UI that I could tell. I started to traverse down the directory tree but I couldn't find a way traverse back up. So I really don't know if my text file was saved or not and I'm not sure if I can find it and edit it again. There must be a way to do this (I assume) but I could not find anything. How could there be so many good reviews for this app when some obvious controls appear to be missing? Or did I miss the point of this app altogether?
Hi, I am working in translating a video Can you develop this app to browse text file & Video file (.avi, mkv, mp4) at the same time dual ? Please I know you can do this because you are a best develop with great app. ???? Best regards, Thanks
This is basically useless. It insists on auto capitalizing and correcting text you input into it, which makes writing code on it impossible.
Uses in app ads. Not an Open Source product. Seems to work ok but I deleted it shortly after install because of AdChoice advertisements.
simplicity and elegance on top of well written code. fantastic text editor. though, may i request you add the option to pay for removal of ads, or to relocate the position?
This app does exactly what I expected. No frills, nothing extra just the ability to update code. Can't be beat for a simple FTP and edit app. Especially at the price.
The app would be perfect, but I can't find the option to upload an edited file. No use if I can't get the file back to the server. Nice option to view the doc in browser. If someone knows, please leave comment explaining. UPDATE: My iPad was locked on portrait view - there are two panes all the time, the left which wasn't showing up in portrait view - had the 'put' button next to the 'get' button. So, if you use this app in landscape - it IS perfect! It would be nice to have the app resize for portrait.
I was excited to try this app because all I needed was a simple HTML editor, but every file I downloaded would come up blank in the editor screen. I found on their support site that others have been having the same problem, and they say it's because it can't handle long files. The files I've been trying to edit are not that long, really. So that pretty much makes this app worthless for me.
