Absolutely Brilliant!

It feels and plays exactly like the Star Wars Rogue Squadron games from the late 90's but everything is in super high definition and I love it! The graphics are awesome, flying through the clouds over a snow planet while snow flakes fall around you, giant windmills in the desert, pyramids coming up out of the ocean - just cool stuff. Lots of ships, blasters, homing missiles, bombs, different cockpits for each ship, tons of cool little details right down to the hud reticule that's straight from rogue leader! Playing on an iPhone 5 and the frame rate is butter smooth, soundFX and music are excellent. Great voice acting, and music that feels really epic. There is IAP, but none of it is required to win, totally optional. Someone please get these guys to make the next Rogue Squadron game!

Amazing game that is unplayable because the barrel roll feature doesn't work on ipad2, which pretty much means you can't fight properly. Please fix!!! Would be five stars.

I can't believe I paid 5 bucks for this. Great concept except boring and controls take up most of screen real estate making the actual game difficult.

I bought the game at its $5 price range, deleted it to make room for another game, downloaded it after its new content download and now I have to pay to unlock the full game?! Why do I have to pay twice?! What a terrible slap in the face to those that already bought your game. Disappointed.

For those saying you got ripped off, reread the app description. You can restore your purchases. The game looks like fun, kinda reminds me so f X-Wing. The graphics are well done as well as the audio and it plays fairly smooth on my iPad 2.

Almost impossible to control

After 30 minutes in the first tutorial, I still can't control it with any precision. I tried the accelerometer, gave up and tried the on-screen pad, but both were very difficult to control. I was also very excited because it had a game controller option, but it doesn't work at all with my Bluetooth game controller made by ipega. Please add icade control so we can use our Bluetooth game controllers!

UPDATE: The guy who smugly says we actually don't have to buy it twice, you're wrong. I've read the app description previously and tried to restore the game through the market in the hanger. Flat out, it DOES NOT WORK! No matter how many times I press the restore button, nothing happens. Nada, zip! So again, don't let these jerks rip you off, folks. The developers should be ashamed of themselves! I bought this game when it was first released and have enjoyed playing it a bit here and there ever since. Now they decide to make it a F2P piece of trash and I'm locked out of everything but the first mission unless I pay them another $4.99?! These developers are criminals, and Apple should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen. Don't give these crooks your money!

Just tried this and then bought it immediately. Console quality graphics and audio. Controls are butter smooth and responsive, works perfectly with my MadCatz Micro game pad. Games like this don't come along too often, one of the best flight combat games on iOS right now.
