It's a good overall app but doesn't let me make my own sound.Instead you have make a beat with the kits gave to you or those online that you can download . It needs a keyboard

Creating/storing your own kits is so easy. Lots of control and lots of fun. Great for beginners and will do the job for most professionals.

I've downloaded may ten or fifteen different apps or programs, all similar to this one, that weren't this comprehensive or user friendly. Plus the web tutorials are very helpful!
