THE ORPHEUS DEVICE
An interactive audio horror story! Use the Orpheus Device to engage in a conversation with a malevolent Wraith of the Shadowlands. This story is produced in collaboration with White Wolf Publishing. I tried a few demos, the Orpheus Device being chief among them. I am all White Wolf/Onyx Path fan. The demo was quite moody and atmospheric and had good sound production values. I see that Project Cygnus is available, but this review does not reflect having tried it. My concern is whether a full version of the game will tell a full and complete story, rather than just some interesting conversational by-play. That said, I'm giving it a five star review based upon the demos. I'll be looking for a more robust narrative in the full versions, but it would be premature to mark it down now. I really look forward to complete stories in the future!
