Video settings are a bit lacking you can not change the focus manually unless you use the constantly changing auto tap focus. Although the photo settings are amazing.

Great overall product. But would like to see video recording unlocked when in "selfie" mode as well as full manual photo control. An ez selfie mode toggle will make sense with that.

The DxO One camera truly changes the way I take photos with my iPhone. Say goodbye to noisy blurry nighttime photos and portraits with everything in focus. I own the DxO One and absolutely love it! I knew what I was looking for and this camera delivered. I wanted the most compact form factor I could get while still having the ability to shoot RAW. Since I always have my iPhone with me, carrying the DxO One is the smallest RAW camera I could carry. The IQ of the photos is very impressive. It definitely gives me better photos than my iPhone (which is no slouch), but the iPhone can’t compete because of sensor size and lens. This new update shows that DxO Labs can add new features through software updates that actually really provide some new features rather than just bug fixes. As with anything, nothing is perfect. For example, there is no optical zoom. Need to physically move closer or farther from your subject. But all in all, for what I was looking for, especially the ability to shoot in RAW, tiny form factor, and superb IQ (image quality), combined with an iPhone that provides a big view finder and the ability to instantly share your photos just like any on your iPhone make this product well worth my investment in it.

I love the camera and app. There are serious issues: 1-When camera is at 20% battery the view finder doesn't work. Some photos can be taken, but it is random. 2-App freezes when shooting and changing settings. 3-Camera freezes with the new firmware. It stays on and can't capture photos from 20% battery until it dies completely. I'm sure all of this can be figured out. I can't wait for the upgraded app and firmware.

First off, when this works, it works well. The problem is that the app freezes almost half the time the camera is connected. The only way to fix it is to do some combination of force quitting the app, unplugging the DxO One, or (in one case) hard resetting the DxO one with a paperclip. The app also doesn’t auto-launch unless you’re not already in another app- though that may be an iOS limitation. If they can fix the stability issues, the this will be a winner.
