One thing to fix

CookieMonster1234 (you tube account)

The only thing wrong with this app is when you choose the words to match the sentence, this first word is always capitalized. So if I don’t know what the first word means, the app gives it away because it’s capitalized. To fix it I’d say just make all the answers lower case.

It's a good app??????

blainy girl ??

I just is really hard to level up

Greatest Language Learning App in the Universe!!!

loud_milk

I am learning French in the club “FrenchMastersUS” and I LOVE Duolingo! No glitches! I tried TinyCards, but Duolingo is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better! So if you’re reading this review and you don’t download Duolingo I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN. Thanks, DanielChai15

Great App

JCHudsonSoCal

I love this app as it turns language learning into a game. However, why the developer chooses to hide how many XP I need for the following level is beyond me. Asking me in German to match “ein” with “a” on level 23 is not helping me. Please give greater practice for higher-level vocabulary. The Japanese course does not adequately mix skills. An entire lesson can be spent on writing. Tedious, as this is not the case in German.

Doesn’t pronounce the words

Organic Sam

I’m trying to learn Vietnamese and the button to hear the words doesn’t work. I press it and nothing happens. There seems to be no built in support or help desk situation in-app so I can’t ask why it’s not working or if that’s not a free feature. It’s the only reason I downloaded this app so I’m pretty disappointed.

Used to be good...

EmberLark

This used to be such a good app but with the addition of "health" you can only make something like 5 mistakes before it puts you in time out - even if you buy the plus version without ads. It's an annoying money grab especially if you're new to a language and their model is based around learning as you go. I'm so disappointed.

Eh

Derksgirl

I thought the app was amazing. Until I went to pull it up for the third time ever using it and I had to start all over with the language I was learning... it deleted all of the stuff I had learned already. Technical issues? I guess. I know it’s free but that really sucked!

GREAT but

Awesomegirl478

I absolutely love the app it is very helpful and it teaches you in a fun way but it has "health" and it won't restore one bar without 3 hours!!! Very annoying but it will let you restore in different ways too other than that AMAZING

Loved the app initially

GmaK50

I’ve been using this app for years and enjoy the practice very much. However, recently it fails me constantly on the oral repetition. My pronunciations have not changed so I don’t know what the problem is. I may have to skip that part from now on. My first review was 5 stars. It was challenging and I learned so much. Second review was lower when the three strikes condition was removed and repetition was not critical. Now I'm down to 3 stars. I still practice with the app every day and it reinforces the language but there is no new material. Some of the exercises are not working properly. As others have pointed out, the exercise with three choices is consistently the first choice. I'm glad to have this app and should not expect too much for free but it used to be better.

Best language app ever!!

Emily Fairchild

I just wanted to say that this app is the best app to learn languages ever! It has taught me a lot in the last few days, and I’m loving it, if you want to learn a new language than I suggest this one
