This game is ridiculously fun, with tons of replay value. Half the fun is the mountains of loot you can find, and the other half is leveling up your characters.

I really enjoy this game. It’s fun and addicting. Some of dialogue in the game makes me chuckle. Buy it, it’s worth it. The game play reminds me of the good games when I was I kid. Being an old fart now means it’s hard to find games that hold my wandering attention, but now I’m like wandering with all attention to my next in game jam session So yeah, 5 bucks is totally worth it.

Awesome Game

Not a review writer, but this game deserves some merit. Detailed enough to make the characters feel unique. Very expansive. Reminds me of exploring the original Zelda map as a kid, but with a stacked party of hero, and way bigger world. Lots of cool gear to find. The creator is very active with updates and making the game better. I have had the game for a few years, and have not yet finished it, as I am busy, but have leveled several parties up to level 20 multiple times. Currently running a party of with two barbarians, a knight, a Druid, a wizard and of corse, a Cleric. I love trying to roll the perfect stats for each character. Great game, and much appreciation to the developer! Thanks!

Adventure with depth

First time doing a review. Love this game! Extremely high replay value! Strategist dream! Some puzzles are hard so those 1/5 stars are people that give up easy. Easy mode for casuals players. Great community on FB. Crazy party settings after beating the game once!

Awesome Sauce

Hands down best paid for game I’ve played. No gimmicks just a fun classic RPG. Great community for this game. The creator is involved and continues to evolve the game, at the same time is working in and taking feedback to develop his next game. Which! Is related! What a great game. Highly recommended!!

Great game!

I love this game! I play it all the time! Great fan base that is active on the Facebook page and a great developer who updates regularly with both bug fixes and new content. Would give 10 stars if I could.

A Great Time

In a market where too many '"games" are shallow, or are mean-spirited cash-grabs, or a bit of both, Dungeons of Chaos stands out as an example of what mobile gaming should be: -It's ad-free, does not offer in-app purchases, and is priced to move. I've paid twice the asking price for games that still had in-game ads. -It's challenging and loaded with content. A week in, I'm still learning how to play the game in an optimized way. The author has developed a complete pen-and-paper rpg system and adapted it to a digital format. There is a whole world to explore and a large (If standard fare) campaign to pursue. -The sound is right out of an early 90's video game. The music is similar, but takes advantage of modern speakers to make a pleasing ambiance. -The pixel art is similarly old-school. The world and characters are colorful and pleasing to look at. Anyone familiar with grid-based rpg games will not have trouble navigating and understanding what is going on in game. The several menu screens are more modern in their look, and are well adapted to touchscreens. I have a few gripes, however. -The over-world map desperately needs a zoom-out function and more complete labeling. -Documentation explaining all aspects of combat, turn orders, the behavior of magic spells, and skill usage would be great. -The game can get 'grindy' at times. If the party takes on a quest that is too much for them, you wind up having to level them the same old way. Also, to train your skills upon leveling, you must seek out each npc trainer in turn. If you have a party with a diverse skill-set, this means a lot of backtracking. Not actually a gripe, just something I would like: -A way to import my own pixel art for party characters would be really cool. I strongly encourage you to buy this game. It's one of the best I've found. You won't regret it.
