Taking equal inspiration from Pac-Man and Temple of Apshai, Dungeonism combines the strategies of turn-based RPGs and tile-based arcade games into a single unique gameplay style. It is engrossing enough to be played for hours, but its turn-based rhythm makes it easy to play in short bursts.
Combining an original art style with classic rpg elements makes this great to pick up and play for a quick session, or a longer playtime.
I bought this game on a whim and I LOVE IT!!! Graphics are really cool and it's really easy to just pick up and play. Definitely recommend!
Non-complicated gameplay plus cool rpg leveling system (the more you use a skill the 'cheaper' it is to level in it) plus fun monsters and wry humor not to mention awesome music make this game totally addictive. Simple enough to play while doing other things but fun enough to exclaim aloud while playing -- it has gotten me in trouble with the girlfriend during more than one 'conversation'. Totally fun.
My new go to game when I have a few minutes to spare. It deserves to get more attention.
Other than the occasional crash (no more than 2), this game had been a lot of fun. I enjoy its simplicity and difficulty. It's a fun game. Period.
Awesome dungeon crawler (rogue-ish), with a unique art style, and more polish than a new car. Lots to explore - and intuitive ui. Don't miss (I beg for an iPad version!!)
A series of turn based Gauntlet dungeons with Zelda like monsters and Oblivion style skills. I play it while I take care of business (you know what I mean)...but sometimes I forget to stop at just one dungeon.
I've had a long run of games which were deleted as quickly as they were downloaded, this was not one of those games. Dungeonism draws elements from all corners of classic dungeon crawling and combines them with a sound interface, slick minimalist visuals, and a pace that makes one sometimes forget that it's turn based. Dungeonism is punishing, but never cheap, each death is a lesson, and nothing is insurmountable! I love this game, and I don't see myself getting bored of it anytime soon! Props to the developer for the Nietzsche Easter egg!!
By far the best roguelike dungeon crawler on the iOS market. I highly recommend it, and can't wait for content updates. Vanilla gameplay lasted me about 20 hours, so pretty good value per $, too.
Fun and fantastically polished. Playable in tiny bits, yet it's got long-term depth. Highly recommended!
