An old school adventure in a great new format

I used to love the choose your own adventure books (who didn’t). I wasn’t sure I was going to dig a text based fantasy RPG but I was hooked almost instantly!!
Remind me of a free version of Darkest Dungeon

I was looking forward to scratch this looting itch. There are some things which I’d want to tweak, but overall I’m having a good time playing. Definitely recommend when you are wanting a quick crawler.

Improvements to balancing the pvp were never made after several updates. Can win pvp matches if someone has all healers and one attacker which makes pvp boring and obnoxious. The odds of getting a top tier ‘adventurer’ are under one percent max capability so without spending money you’re going to be at a disadvantage in pvp because it’s not balanced. Still long wait for resources after reaching a certain level there’s nothing to do for over days at a time outside of collect and purchase resources. It’s more a glorified version of a resources and wait game than it is a role playing game.
Entertaining, but needs work.

Overall, the game is fun and gives the player a lot of options. The grammatical errors are all over the place, but not a big problem. PvP/Arena easily the worst part as it is a boring crapshoot. You are usually outmatched by lower teams because the AI is better than the player interface. Yeah, I could spend to get a great team, but the game is not that good.
