Excellent

Yes the paid app has some very nice touches, but this free app is about the same for beginners and you can see what the paid version is all about. A great app on it's own as well.

Amazing. Get the paid version!!!

Super addictive. Very fun.

Needs a campaign mode.

This is a very addictive game. My only complaint is how jarring it is when it ends. Like, it could go on forever, and then wham, a row of monsters comes out and you die. The game could do a *much* better job alerting you when you're about to die. All you currently get is a heartbeat noise. Not very useful if you're playing in a noisy environment or if you're not low enough on health to trigger the noise but are about to suffer a huge enough damage spike to die. I wish there were some sort of finite goal, like a campaign mode, to pursue. Endless non-zero-sum games get irritating and boring after a while. I also wish there were a character sheet to view all your current stats, and a brief in-game wiki to look up what they mean. Finally, an option to revert to the beginning of the previous turn, when you die, would be nice--to see if you can figure a way to weasel out of it and keep going! Other than those suggestions, this is a very fun game. I will definitely be playing it some more.

Good game

Simple and fun, you can pick this game up to burn a few spare minutes or put several hours into it.

Buy it!

Demo doesn't do justice to the full version, which is far better. Customization and unlocks, distinct player classes with arch enemies, challenge modes. No further IAP or other nonsense. This is one of the best puzzle games ever made, treat yourself to the complete edition. And especially because the free one doesn't twist your arm and nag for a purchase.

Just bought the full version.

I'm hooked. Wonder what the full version can add.

Lures you in...

TroutDeep

Simple match3 on the surface, but the depth of strategy is there if you seek it. It's simply brilliant. As casual or deep as you make it. Full version offers a "sprint mode", which is great for playing a bounded (100 turns) game. IMHO, an iPad release would be fine, but unnecessary, as the game lends itself much better to the small screen of the iPhone/iPod Touch. I love this game.
