Crystal is bad for the game

I was rating this game with 4 stars but since you add that crystals thing you mess it up I can’t spend all my day on the phone this crystal thing will be ok if was a pc game but for phone or tablet is to much. In order for us to spend some $ we must to work and waste whole day on crystal city

This game used to be very good. It felt like the developers cared. Used to be fun. It’s hard to a see a good app with lots of potential just give up. The most recent update included the one year anniversary so I decided to spend some “more” money on the game and buy the anniversary package and got some pretty cool items went to look at the gems to see what I could do with them. The info about the gems and new relics is terrible I decided to do what I always do and test things I decided to try to upgrade as I just got an epic upgrade material. I applied it saw it would level my gem to lvl 2 I wondered how many gems it would take to max it out, so I clicked on all the gems until it said max.(way to many) so deselected everything except the plain leveling material and viola a level two gem and everything I selected and deselected vanished including my two legendary gems OH NO! Already long story shorter 10 emails later they tell me it’s not their problem and it’s my fault buyer beware do not trust this developer...

When I joined this game, I would easily have given it 4 stars. It was fairly easy to understand and play while not having to spend a ton of real money to improve. It was not solely a PvP type game. In fact, the PvP portion was small and not very demanding. But, then, the update last week came out and changed a big portion of that. Now, the game has a farming area in it. While I get this new aspect of the game is for allowing better enhancements and empowering the heroes, there are some glaring draw backs. This new area allows other players to attack you and knock you out of the area you were mining. I am guessing it is the new PvP system the developers are adding to the game. However, allowing players to attack other players mere seconds after they take a mining area makes no sense. This means only the elite players will ever be able to take and hold a spot for any length of time. For example, I took a spot and was kicked in less than 30 seconds. So, I took another spot. Managed to hold it for an hour before getting kicked off of it after three attacks two of which were back to back by the player who took the spot. When I logged back in and found that I had been kicked, I noticed said player mining 5+ spots on the map. Advice to the developers: since a mining area can be controlled by a player for up to 9 hours, how about guaranteeing control for at least 3 hours. In addition, add a cool down for attacks especially if you fail to defeat someone occupying a spot. Lastly, the area needs work as lower level players have no chance to do anything in the mining area. I have seen this type of gaming model tried in other mmo type game apps. It pretty much had same results. Hyper-competitive players constantly knocked weaker players to both improve their own team while suppressing other players from being able to improve (reference to earlier mentioned player who was farming 5+ mines at once). I simply quit that very night. I am not going to continue playing a game that promotes that king of game play. It will only drive lower level players out and slowly kill the game. If anyone who has read this far wants to try the game, feel free to do so. It does have some nice aspects to it, but I am officially done with it.

This game balances adventure and hero RPG pretty well. I don’t normally rate games but this one was worth it.
