Great game! Wish the gold was a little cheaper.

Great turn based dungeon crawler. A lot of fun. Wish though the gold was a lil bit cheaper. Would still recommend.

Crashes whenever I get close to the Goblin King. I notified the designers a couple of times. Not interested in fixing it I guess. I have a new iPad and the latest software. Too bad.

Update please

GhostHackNinja

Please make it iOS 8 compatible:)

Why?

Joshlparker

Why make a completely separate app with Metal? I'll be honest. I didn't recognize this game at first but after watching the little clip I recalled how it used to look. This game was a lot of fun and at times challenging. I will not pay $5 again for the same game just for some small graphical differences. I may download the updated version to see the changes. Good luck to you guys.

Scummy move

You updated an existing, old game with the Metal Api enabled, and then try to get people to pay all over again for it? And somehow it makes the front page of the app store? Pretty friggin' lame.

From the Dev: Read carefully please!

Hello Dungeon Crawlers fans! There seems to be some confusion on these new SKU's and this is the best way to reach you directly. We've been working hard on a massive update for over a year, and I didn't want to leave original purchasers of the game out in the cold. So if you own the original, this latest build includes all of the upgrades, including content, but not the new graphics. I did this so that people with older devices could still enjoy the product. If you've never owned DC and have a next-gen metal-enabled device, then pick up the new version! This is not uncommon. Think of it like Grim Fandango remastered. Same game, for a new generation of computing devices. Thanks and please email us with bugs and concerns.

Great Game

Thanks for the update.

I stopped playing because of this update

Game Processing Unit 23

Yes, its the same game, except for turn-based combat mechanics. And this change made the game too frustrating for me. Before the update each char had a set movement allotment. If he performed an action it was deducted from the movement total. Now, he can only move or attack. Not both. I threw my hands up in frustration every time I tried to play after the update. Now I'm just giving up. Delete.

Won't Even Play It Now

I understand the developers want for their game to be available and playable on older devices but that doesn't mean that people like I (whom owns an iPad Air 2) aren't getting screwed over here. I supported this game a long time ago and now am being told to buy it all over again to get the better graphics for it! Worse, I never even barley played the game and, now, deciding to pick it up again, I find there's a better version of it available. Thanks to this, I no longer have an interest in playing it. I'll go play Warhammer Quest, or Banner Saga. Both provide way better graphics and aren't asking me to pay twice for the base game. Here's a thought... Provide a toggle for improved graphics for those that can handle them. I've seen such a toggle in many games. But, then, that would be less greedy.
