Bubble Level?

MrWizardly

How do you calibrate it? Even the most carefully assembles iPod isn't at zero. Unloaded it.

Neat Tool

I used it to set a new vanity cabinet. Works!

This app is very good.

Accurate? Not for me.

I tried the level on my desk. In the landscape orientation (using the first bubble level) the app told me I needed to raise the left end of my phone to level the desk but when I switched to the portrait orientation (now using the second bubble level) the app said I needed to raise the right side of my phone. Such disparity in the two levels does not inspire much confidence. And, I could not see a means to calibrate the level.

Very handy and works well. We use it when leveling our RV. Easy to read.

Only fair on my iPad 1

Kayaker611

It is pretty to look at, and showing both axes in digital and analog is a good concept. Development suggestion: it would be handier if it was able to rotate itself on the screen, so numbers would stay right side up. Also, remove any active touch-links from the screen. On my iPad 1, accuracy is off between 1-4 degrees depending which side I measured, which would be good enough for leveling some things, but was not close enough for hanging a picture. I think this is a hardware flaw, not software. More annoying, if I press it against an object, I activate the Power Down button or the volume button, or my thumb on the screen touches something, sending me off to the app store, another app, or the Home screen.

Reads 63deg when at 45deg

On my phone, this app reads 63 degrees when the phone is at 45 degrees. It will read level when the phone is level.
