Great app, not sure why other knock it

Dukester2010

This is a great camera app. I take some great photos with it. I would love to see zoom-in focus with a focus dial for people with big fingers, like me. I would also like to see quick manual F/E controls. It's easier to just move the two icons around to get the right lighting and focus condition. Most camera apps have those now. What I like about this camera app is the smooth rack focus transition. I would also like to see limit markers so I can preset my rack focusing for a scene. Overall, this is a great app. I don't really care about in app imessenger and other features that might slow down the app load. There are much more powerful apps that I stop using, because it takes too long to load due to all the unnecessary added features. I prefer to do the post processing outside of my camera app anyways.

Nice

Give some more better.

Good Start but needs improvements. V1.0

Vilification

I’ve been waiting for apple to allow manual control of the hardware for quite some time. I found this camera app to be the first I’ve seen to have direct manual control over the settings. So far I’ve noticed the ISO range doesn’t cover the entire range offered by the hardware so hopefully this can be fixed. I’d love to see use of the spinning wheel type interface, like when changing dates or times in the iOS, for setting shutter and ISO. The slider is ok and all but leaves much to be desired because its not very conducive to fine adjustments. Also locating the settings at the top rather than the bottom would help greatly. I notice my hand covers them up when adjusting the settings. God start overall and I look forward to seeing this app develop. Good job guys.

This is what I wanted!

The first manual camera app that gives me sliders for everything at once, including "Program" mode! Excellent! This is a GREAT tool, very well done! That said, I have one or two suggestions to make this awesome app even better. First, maybe auto zoom in while focusing, and as soon as I let go, zoom back out. Second, the sliders are a bit short. Longer and less sensitive might be better, though I understand device rotation might be difficult to accommodate. Thank you so much!

Useless

Total gimmick. Anything other than auto is useless.

Good but

This is great as there are sliders for all manual functions unlike other manual programs. The only thing I would like is a zoom slider so you don't need to do pinch zoom and also a way to activate the light on the camera for times when you need a little extra light but don't want to use flash.

Great app but needs more frame rate video options

Johnger1234

Updated 1/28/2016: I like having manual setting in the Video Camera mode. Buy I do not see any settings for video frane rates such as 1080p 24, 30, 60, 120 and 720p 240. Without being able to select different frame rate this app really is not that useful. I think this is a great app. I cannot find this app on the App Store where did it go? Also I am an end user so I am not getting paid to write this review. I have the iPhone 6s Plus. Good easy to use manual controls of all the manual setting such as shutter speed, ISO film speed, manual focus. Up to ISO 2000. Shutter speed up to 1/6000. Feature update: needs more video frame rate speeds. There is no option for 240fps slow mo speed. This would make this app much better and a 5 star rating. 2) there is no audio monitoring. These 2 updates are a must.

very good

Awesome App!

I wanted to see if there was an alternative to Filmic Pro. This app lets me shoot 4K, control the iso, shutter speed, as well as the exposure mode (Priority/Manual). Also, taking pictures using this app is pretty amazing as well. As a person who is used to using an actual camera, this app gives me similar functions that I'm used to seeing on a camera. I'd love to see an addition for the Moondog Lens adapter, but it isn't a huge priority. It would only be to match the fact that filmic pro has the setting to adapt to the moondog lens.
