Will this app ever work

The NAS has some great tools and features but adoption will be slow if they continue to release app products like this. After so many leases it's still so incredibly buggy.

I'm not sure why a few reviews are negative. I upload my photos to the DiskStation (NAS) and this very nicely formats thumbnails on the screen and enables easy selection that gives many of the details of the photo (camera, aperture,exposure, lens, date, etc.). Works well from the web browser or through the iPad/iPhone apps. The app is updated regularly.

The latest version works great. Fast loading - I have a large number of albums and the thumbnails load very fast. Simple interface. Exactly what I needed. I haven't tried other features but so far very good.

ds photo+ would be a very good idea if it would work, but it does not. If you wana upload wireless your photos from iPhone or iPad it says successful uploaded, but when you go and see the uploaded photos , most of them are corrupt, bad luck if you have deleted the original photos already. Messed up my whole photo collection. It could be so nice (DS File similar problems, loosing files while moving or renaming), hard to dump the whole synology system. Totally unpredictable, unreliable! Its only good to view your photos.

New update doesn't work. Can't get any of my pictures or albums from my Synology NAS to load. Keep getting an error message.

Great job, fast and accurate backups all synced to local NAS for photos and videos, and I installed the cloud sync which can handle the offsite, great options and very easy to setup!
Manual backup everyday

App is great, would be 4 star but with Geofence on, I seem to have to start the app manually every time I want to backup new photos. Is this correct? Or am I missing something? Thought it would be all automatic like Google Photos or iCloud Photos.
