Just up graded from the free version. Easily loaded the set list for Saturday's gig and Sunday's church service.

The very best of the set list apps for iPhone

Several months ago I purchased several setlist apps. All of them (including this app) fell short of my expectations for one reason or another. After spending some time with each of them, it seemed like Drum Setlist Manager showed the most promise, so I sent an email to Andreas with my observations and suggestions. He replied almost immediately stating that he would at least attempt to incorporate most of my ideas. I am thrilled to say that as of v1.31 he has done exactly that, making Drum Setlist Manager a very practical tool for live performance. I can go on and on about how well thought out this app is from the upfront stuff like it's very practical landscape display (which works perfect onstage) and advanced metronome features, to the things behind the scenes like the recent addition of the "lyrics, key and chord sequence" fields, skin configurability, backup/restore facility. Now Andreas my friend, I am going to hit you once again with yet another request. More and more solo acts, duets and even full bands are using backing tracks to fill out their sound, and it occured to me that it would be a great addition if you could attach a song from the library and have it play when you press the "Start" button When that song ends, the next song in the setllst would cue up and play automatically. The "Start/Stop" button could be used to alternately pause or restart the audio clip along with the flashing LEDs. FWIW, I recently stumbled upon another setlist app called "Bandm8" that has this capability. Unfortunately, it can't compete with Drum Setlist Manager in any other area IMO. Andreas, you owe me nothing, your program has already exceeded my expections. But, if you're up to the challenge...

complex but powerful

It takes awhile to figure out exactly how to operate this thing, but you'll be glad you invested the time. If you've gotten to the point of reading this review then you're probably facing the problem of how to manage multiple setlists with bunches of tunes each having their own signature, tempo, and requiring some detailed notes. This thing does it all -- nicely done. Wish List: iPad full-size version; the ability to sync between iphone and ipad (cloud database?); the ability for the app to compute tempo when importing file from iTunes.

Great tool!

Having success with the lite version of this app my church bought the full version. It's an awesome app! Only complaint is starting an imported song with the click track at the same time. And can this app find imported songs tempos automatically?

Really like this app

I do really like this app but would like to see a couple improvements for the next update. 1. Would like to be able to rearrange the songs/presets in chain that i have already added. 2. Would like to link songs from Spotify, i understand this may require account. 3. When i change tempo (BPM+, BPM-)in set screen, i have to save before it will change the click speed.
