Drone On My Phone uses our realistic physics engine. Beginner challenges are performed with the full physics engine and additional stabilization to simplify flying while you are still learning. This is designed to allow you to learn the skills you need a bit at a time rather than being overwhelmed with too much to remember at once. Skills to practice include hovering, landing and flying through gates.
When you feel you are ready, there are more advanced challenges to try. High and low rates are also available. Start low while you are learning, then switch to high rates when you are ready to go faster.
Drone On My Phone also includes a Games map which consists of a number of obstacle courses to fly. These are fun and will help improve your hovering and maneuvering skills.
Additional maps with more challenges are available as a low cost In-App Purchase (IAP) to help you take your skills to the next level. An Advanced Controller is available as a low cost IAP that allows you extra control over things such as expo, rates, FPV camera tilt, and drone mode. The default drone mode is STAB (also called angle mode), which gives automatic stabilization and is great for learning. It's the mode that most store-bought drones use. ACRO drone mode (also called rates mode) is also available via the Advanced Controller for advanced flying such as loops, flips, barrel rolls and maximum speed flying.

It is a great app for beginners and experienced flyers but the maps are pretty tight and you really need the extra stuff? but it’s only $4. Other than that it’s great????

I really like this sim. I have always felt sketchy about flying in ACRO with my quad. But this helped me understand the difference and how there’s no reset to the input. Much more control when you learn how to fly with it. Still haven’t flown my quad with it. But this is giving me a better understanding of ACRO mode. One thing I would have to say is I wish there was free flight. In an open field.

As a drone racer myself I've spent my fair share of time on simulators. A mobile phone sim app seemed impossible to fly to my expectations but surprise surprise!!! I will admit without buying the expansions this app is pointless but for 4 bucks and about 20 min of tuning this sim flys great!! Only real complaint is it NEEDS MORE LEVELS!!!!!

Awesome game but please make it to where in a multiplayer race you can re-set your quad if you flip and maybe either restart from beginning or from last checkpoint. It’s hard flying with my friend if one of us flips we have to exit the race and restart it. Also please add an outdoor map instead of indoor. Thanks!

I love flying around in the full version maps. I sometimes do the prescribed challenges but mostly I fly freestyle doing a bunch of flips and spins and such around all the objects and walls and things.. I feel it’s appropriate to rate this app 5 stars because my review comes after a year of use and, frankly, addiction. I can honestly say it has helped me learn to fly acro. It is for sure different and probably a lot more forgiving than the real thing but I just know that after a week of periodically playing around with this app and all the rate/expo settings it has in the full version, I pulled out my quad and flew with much better authority than before. Note, I am a beginner at all this but I did build my own quad and figured out all the stuff from YouTube and things... I don’t know if I’m just so excited and addicted to this fpv thing and then I see this “Drone On My Phone” app in a different light than maybe a regular person would see it. ??? I can’t remember the cost of the full version. I’ve had it and played with it so long. Maybe it was $5. Whatever.. it was worth it. A statement I cannot make about all paid apps. I would love to see this app add bigger maps where one could get more altitude and do more complicated tricks. I would also love to be able to adjust the gameplay characteristics to make it feel less floaty. I’d also like the app to incorporate the feel of much stronger motors like they have now these days. However, all that said... I still think this app deserves 5 stars because it is the best I can find out there that gets the closest to matching the feel of flying a decent fpv freestyle quad. I think this is the best FPV simulator on iOS period. There are some quirks like having to tune a little to get it to fly normally and a very slight auto level in acro mode. But besides these, it really is perfect. Almost to a point where I would call it more a simulator then a game. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted this app to keep improving. I bought both packages and was slightly disappointed of what was included in terms of the map package. Very little offered. The games were also lacking IMO. There needs to be a mute option available. Also, a reset option for your controls because I don’t really know what I am doing and I don’t want to mess them up and not get it back to “standard configuration”. This app serves my purpose though and I enjoy it.
