As fun as this drag racing game is, and as challenging as it can be, especially in live racing, there is a very expensive aspect in upgrading the cars you keep. Tiers 1 and 2 are not too $$, but by Tiers 4 & 5, where the cars can easily exceed 200mph, it can cost the user a small fortune to upgrade each of them to peak potential. There are rare cars for sale that cost $15 -$20 + tax in non-refundable cash. You aren’t able to sell those at all, which I found out the hard way. Advice to noobs is to try any cars out which you’ve accumulated by using gold keys = at a minimum of $10 a pop -(gold and cash, used for upgrades and fuel, can cost you up to $100 each for the best “deals”) to see if they appeal in terms of baseline handling, sell any extra cars and associated parts you may win or purchase with real cash to accumulate game cash for upgrading each Tier level car you keep. Why? Because if you upgrade too many cars at each Tier, you may be able to sell them, but only at a fraction of the real cash you invested in them. The cars are different within each Tier and especially among them, so evaluating them prior to upgrading is the smarter way to have fun while conserving funds. Addictive personalities with tight budgets would be better off with an XBox plus a great racing game.
