I traversed a couple of cities before deciding to eliminate this app and revert back to the excellence of Drug Wars. Drinks Wars is a decent idea playing off of a simple and potentially incredibly addictive, buy low-sell high scenario where you have the choice of purchasing beer, wine, gin, "Ron" (guessing they meant Rum), bourbon, and reserve wine and whisky in one city and then travel to another city, hoping to profit by an increase in demand. This has been executed well, before, but not simply from this objective alone. In games such as Drug Wars, you run into randomized opportunities, fortunes, and misfortunes, which all give the game just that much more appeal and replayability. In Drinks Wars, however, the only additions to the buy low-sell high scenario are poor spelling and grammar. Case in point: DRINK Wars is better grammar and flows/sounds better. At least it runs well without crashing and serves a very basic function, but in the "Drug Wars-Type Game" Wars, this is one that loses every time.
Simple, fun, and challenging. My only complaint is that there is no slider to choose buy/sell quantities. This is fine when your truck can only hold 20 cases, but there needs to be something other than 'all', 'nil', +1, -1 once the truck is upgraded past 100 cases.
