While the controls need a little to get use to. You offer a really good game for only 99 cents. More should follow your lead. The best money I have spent on the app store. Well worth it. Great job!
Great game, but changes needed

I think this is a great remake of the classic game "Asteroids." However, some changes should be made to improve it. First of all, the controls should be simplified, such as flicking to do hyperspace and just tapping the screen anywhere to shoot. Second, there should be a pause button in case you are interrupted while playing. Finally, it would be good to add a high score board instead of just one high score. If these changes are made, the game will be awesome!
Worth the price of admission!

Available from the beginning, saw it for a buck, and thought,"what the hell, let's give it a go". Was not to impressed. So I did not play it for a couple weeks. Went back a few times and found the once-awkward controls a bit easier each time. Played it a few more times and thought,"this is getting pretty fun". Now, it's the game I play the most. Definately recommended. Request: I agree with many that firing should be more of an area and not a single button. With no tactile feel for buttons, I find that my finger can wonder off the vitual button. Pause would be great. High scores list with levels would be prefered over the simple single highest score. I wonder if a scrolling finger up/down or left/right would be better than two separate buttons for spinning. Move finger up rotate right, move finger down rotate left. Stop finger stop rotating. Move finger to an 'end' and continue rotating till moving finger in reverse motion. Just a thought. Thanks for the price. Definately worth the cost to play.
Cool graphics and cheap enough to make learning the navigation worth it

Good thing it's only a buck because the navigation is crappy. Also hard to see ship when it's against the huge moon - which takes up almost half the playing field. BUT it's only a buck.

Fantastic game only downside is really the controls they are awkward and mine tend to get stuck. Cheap though and stillgreat

This game was great except the controls. You tried to fix that but made it worse. Now you can't play the game, the ship flys when it wants and teleport on it's own. I spent 30 sex watching it fly around without me touching the controls. Please fix it. You should make it more like starsmashers.

I was a bit dissapointed with this game at first (version 1) but then they fixed the weird navigation system with a much better one. It's actually fun to play now (instead of frustrating). Definately well worth the $0.99 now.

But what's with the R power-up? I lose complete control until my ship is destroyed, and afterwards, I lose the ability to turn and shoot simultaneously (multi-touch stops working).
