To play, have a pot of coins or "chips", each player then takes turns spinning the dreidel. If you land on green (gimel) you get all the coins, yellow (nun) means nothing happens, red (hey) means you get half the pot, blue (shin) means you put one coin in. The game may last until one person has won everything.
This could be a nice program, but there are two mistakes. You've replaced "shin" with "tav" and "gimmel" is upside down. Fix these errors and it'll be a nice little app. An addition of a betting counter or score chart would be nice too.
The taf is not suppose to be there and the gimmel is upside down. The proper letters are nun gimmel hay shin (or pey if you are in israel)
I've played this game before in real life and thought it was fun but with this app I didn't like it cause I don't know what all the symbols stand for so not so much fun.
This app is good but the gimmel is upside down. If u update it I will give it more stars. Other then the mistake, it's a fun little game. Rock on people!!!! Peace out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Play the game!!!!!!!!
It advertises Chanukah music but I don't hear any. Too bad. Otherwise would be sweet.
dreidel is a really fun game, if you know how to play. this is a great interpertation of the real game. most people are giving it one star becuase they cant play. heres how to play: start with a pot of coins or something in the middle (the pot) each person also has a small amout of coins or whatever you are using. when you spin: if you land on green (gimel) you get all the coins. yellow (nun) means nothing happens. red (hay) means you get half the pot. blue (shin) you put one coin in. by the way, the colors aren't always the same for every dreidle, thats just for this game.
