Awesome and amazing! From a six year old boy and mom

Enickelaaack

This app has been a lifesaver! First, kept a 6 year old boy busy for 8 hour car trip. Second, taught him to add with carrying and subtract with borrowing!!! We love Dragonbox!

Outstanding educational resource

You have hit the ball out of the park yet again. This is an amazing product that makes a tough math concept very intuitive for young children. Quite frankly my jaw is on the floor yet again.

Kids love it and they are learning so much!

My six and eight years olds are crazy for this game. I've peeked over their shoulders as they play and I see them learning maths - and they like the sums but mostly they spend their time calling out things like, "Look, I got another present for four!" Or "that One really LOVES cushions!" The nooms, which they already knew from the first numbers game, are utterly adorable, and the game has such a charming sense of humour to it I cannot help but love it. I'm impressed that it seems to work with no language whatsoever (that I have seen) - and that the kids are talking about hundreds and thousands as never before. Thank you!!!

Spend Hours Picking Apples

I really want to like this app. I've been playing it before passing to my kids to make sure it'd be good for them. All I do in this game is pick apples. Apples after apples. Hours and hours and hours of picking apples. I need like 350 rocks to build a new store. I need 45ish apples to get 20 rocks. That means I need like 800 apples. I can get like 40 apples in a minute or so. That means I need to spend 20 minutes picking apples to progress. I want me kids learning math. Not learning to touch apples on a tree for 20 minutes. The game is great but they really need to address this. I'm so tired of picking apples.

One of the best

My son had already completed DragonBox 12+ and loved it. He loves math. His numeral writing has never been neat. He loved this program and definitely got faster at regroup and neater at writing. I think it would be a great program for kids just learning to regroup. It's very visual. It's also fun and motivating. He is eagerly awaiting another app. How about one like this with long division?

Worth the money!

This game initially seemed overpriced to me, but I'm so glad we got it. It's probably been the most played educational game we've ever had. My six year year old loves this game! He's had a hard time writing his numbers, often reversing them, but this app has really helped him write his numbers the correct way. It's also helped him learn more advanced math. My other kids ages 3, 8, 11 also really like this game, though it's been most beneficial for my six year old.

Fun game and lots of practice with multi-digit addition and subtraction

I bought this for my 2nd grader, but my 6th grader and I both ended up playing it too-- it is fun. The game is well designed so that the numbers used for calculations get larger as the game progresses, so the player is motivated to keep trying even if the numbers start to look a little daunting to them. The way that base 10 is visualized is well aligned with how my 2nd grader is being taught math in school.

An issue in the game

My daughter really like the game, but there is an issue in this game. Two words "New Text" are always showing on the middle bottom no matter where you go.

Great game, but ...

Dizzly3

This is an entirely addictive game, and adults will enjoy it as well as children. However, I wish there was a way to close the addition/subtraction window, as it's way too easy to accidentally open it (for example, while collecting bees), and then you can't close it without doing the math. In the mean time, all the rest of the bees are flying by and you can't catch them because the other window is open on top. Similarly, if you accidentally select to trade your bees for honey instead of your fish for ice cream, you can't leave the trade window, you have to complete the transaction first. Please let us close the windows and I'll happily give this a five star rating.

This is a brilliant app if you are beginning math. It gave me confidence in addition and subtraction. It is best for age 7+. Review by 9 year old.
