The way this works is this app logs you into a server on the web. You create a game and tell your friend to go look for it. It's not hard to find the game. One downside is you can't look at the game while its not your turn on the app. However, it's a cool app because you can log on to the website on your PC and see the game, play the game and manage your account. The app is very lite. The app basically consists of make a game, look for a game, and play the game. No AI, no puzzles. Another downside I'd like to see fixed is it does not alert you when it's your turn. I have to constantly monitor the app to see if its my turn to play. But this is the only app I've found that let's you play Go over the iPhone with friends around the world. It's worth the time to fool with it and play.

I love go and this is a really good pick so far. But like the other reviewer said you can't see the board when it's not your turn. And notifications when it's your turn would be an awesome addition.

The latest update was completely unexpected, and addresses many of the obvious limitations of the previous version. This is an incredibly simple and pleasant app. Must have for anyone who plays on DGS, worth buying an iPhone for!

The app has finally been updated to fit the iPhone 5 screen! As well as the ability to view games and scroll through moves when it is not your turn! Also push notifications to let you know when your turn is up have been added.

I participated in the beta of 2.0 and have enjoyed the app for a while now. Push notifications were my top feature request, and seeing running games where it was your opponent's turn (for planning) was my second. Both are addressed perfectly in the new release. So great! Makes playing Go on the go as easy as possible. Thanks for the app.
