iPad app does not work well

Bude12345432@

Lots of issues with the microphone and consistency. Simply misses and doesn’t recognize words. Unfortunately I will be canceling my subscription.

A bit glitchy

Only Tim

For some reason Dragon Anywhere does not work with the 2018 iPad Pro unless you are using a Bluetooth connected microphone or headphone set. I wish l could use the built in microphone on the iPad. Also, it would be a time saver to be able to import batches of custom words from a text or a .doc file.

iPad so sad

NIXZPIXZ

Simple: doesn’t work. They killed the main product for Mac. Incredibly disappointing. Now I can only assume that interns are writing the iOS app. What happened Nuance? Why has thou forsaken thee decade long loyal paying customers?

Not what I hoped

You have to be connected to the internet to use. It has a free trial but it is very hard to cancel your subscription.

iPad Pro Non-functional, IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND HELP

Koplin Family

When it works, Dragon is a wonderful app. Often it doesn’t work, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to navigate their support website or contact their support department reliably. The app simply stopped functioning on my IPad Pro (microphone icon turns green and spins like it’s processing, but never actually transcribes text). I can’t figure out how to fix it, and I cannot reach anyone at Dragon to help. Get used to that experience if you purchase this app. Sky-high happy when it works; crushing frustration when it doesn’t.

Problem with password

Shaeq

Is there a current problem with the server. Can't change password. App freezes up.

It has gotten even better

Lizk99

I had Dragon when it first hit the market. I decided to return to it again. It has gotten even better!

Still problematic with absolutely no support

EarlyFreak

Still not ready, do not subscribe still problematic and doesn't seem to work with the new iPads. The real issue is your on your own there is no technical support whatsoever I had subscribed for a year prior and the program was buggy problematic I saw that they did upgrade recently and I decided to give it another shot. Right out of the gate did not work on my iPad. There is no help or support which is not acceptable. It's bad enough this is this is an expensive monthly fee which would be more tolerated if it work on all your devices The phone app work pretty well but what good is it if it doesn't work on all your devices I would say do not get this application The desktop version works great this app besides being too expensive does not live up to the reputation. For the iPad there's an app dictate Pro-version that works very well and for your iPhone voice texting deluxe works extremely well as alternate solutions. Hopefully someday Nuance will get it right and come down in price especially for people who have the desktop version. And how about some support, some technical support for their apps

Needs work...

While this is somewhat better than native iPhone voice to text, one of the primary functionalities that *should* make this far more useful, is the ability to add words and train them so that you can have a custom dictionary. That part barely works. After the program has heard hours and hours of my voice, adding a new word (like a client's last name) and pronouncing it to train it, still results in the app getting it wrong far more often than it's correct. I'm a native English speaker with barely any accent. I can't see myself keeping the rather expensive subscription much more than another month or so, just to see if it improves. Like so many other Dragon products, it is buggy and disappointing.

Dragon is ABANDONING Mac users

oldcarsgofaster

Awful app, and not likely to improve; Nuance FULLY abandoned their Mac desktop platform without notice in October 2018, so look elsewhere unless you want to hit the end of this road too. Nuance’s Customer Service is pandering and limp. I’d given up on this app because it was glitchy, crashing frequently, and lost data easier than flushing a USB stick down a loo. This no-better-than-Siri (when it runs) app isn’t remotely worth a $15 subscription, nor your time. HINT: Open your General/Keyboard settings and enable dictation, and notepad and sync to iCloud & you’ll thank me later.
