Please update; prohibits Blocked phones to register

Eager to use the App, however, it requires many users/physicians to permanently disable caller ID blocking. For many users that would require a “permanent” unblocking through the phone company or carrier , as the ability or flexibility to selectively block/unblock an iPhone is not an option under settings with certain carriers. The concern is that a physician must permanently disable their caller ID blocking; it leaves such users vulnerable to having their phone line or identity visible to others when Doximity dialing is either not initialized or not desired for making particular calls. This request was submitted to the developer a long time ago and it appears there is still no attempt or desire to allow people to register their number with Doximity with the *82 feature to reveal users’ numbers for exclusive Doximity registration . This is a real shame as it precludes potentially many users from taking advantage of such great features. Please address this! Thank you.

This is one of the most used apps on my phone and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I never have any problems with lag time and patients answer quickly when they see the office number come up. A must have if you don’t want to share your private number or dial *67. The fax feature works well too.

I can’t believe this app is not available to psychologists. Just another way PhD level providers in hospitals are discriminated against and treated as “lesser”.

An application error has occurred

I use this dialer all the time but since it switched to being within the app, I get a recording that “An application error has occurred. “ I checked the FAQs and made sure my settings are correct. They also do not make it clear if we should delete the former dialer app. I deleted mine since I figure we are supposed to go through the Doximity app now. Frustrating.

Great app for making calls

Used to work great. Now it rings once and then goes silent and wont complete calls. Sometimes redialing will work, other times I can redial multiple times with the same problem. Update Feb 2018: Issues seem to have been resolved by developer. Has been working great without connection issue over the last 6 weeks. Great app.

I have been using this app for a couple of years and absolutely love it. I have never had a problem with it, calls go straight through, and patients answer. I work in a micro practice and there’s no phone at my desk so this app saves me time and energy.
