the game is ok in my opinion, but the difficulty is too high. Maybe if there was a way to replenish health it would be better. The character also needs more animations(from what i've seen, the guy just swings his sword endlessly the same way). Other than that, it's just ok. EDIT: oh and i've experienced a bit of lag once, i'm on a 32GB 2G ipod touch running OS 3.1.2
Feels Incomplete and Broken

You have to be pretty much right on top of an enemy to kill it. What makes this worse, is that there are no animations or sounds for dealing or taking damage. There doesn't seem to be any way of killing an enemy without it hitting you, and I can't figure out how to recover health. I died on around the 4th level in story, still stuck with the beginning melee weapon. Right now the game is in a broken state. Due to the above problems, the game is literally impossible. In one of the above screenshots it shows you can buy health in the shop, but it's not in the shop. I do not recommend this for even $.99 until it is fixed. Edit: It seems you can ONLY buy health in Arcade mode. This makes Story mode literally impossible and unplayable. Health is way too expensive; after the first level of Arcade I spent all of my money on health. It didn't even get me full health and I'm out of money.

There doesn't seem to be a lot to do in this game...it's sort of like Zombieville or Twin Blades, but with poor controls and very little in the way of animation and sound effects. Walk to the left, hit some robots with your sword, walk to the right, do the same. There is a shop that allows you to buy more weapons, but it seems you'd have to play multiple levels before being able to do so, and to be honest, I'm not interested enough in the gameplay to keep going. The game seems like it has a solid basis to add to, but right now it just seems like there's not much of a game there. And it's not even close to being worth the $2.99 price point.

O.k. so the story line is really a little kid thing. Second the levels are hard and not to mention there is only 5.....and I can't evean get to level 5 because I die in the middle of level 3 and I'm still stuck with the stupid sword/stick Third you have to stand an inch in front of an enemy before I can kill and by that time I'm taking major damage. Plus I can't buy anything because by the end of level 2 I don't have enough money to buy a weapon..but in the middle of level 3 I have enough money but I can't go to the gun shop untill the end of the level. So just update the app so I can at least go to the shop in the middle of a level

Doomsday: 2012 - clearly states world war/zombies destroyed earth leaving a sole survivor of the human race! But your girlfriend was taken? If she's not human, then what is she?!? There was only one survivor! ;)
