Finally, the perfect revival of a gorgeous game.

Csory

The author won't disappoint fans of Singleton's epic original. This game is every bit as good as the Lords of Midnight, and then some. For strategy fans, it is a must. For adventure fans, it is a must. For retro fans, it is a must. Did I miss anyone? Verdict: excellent. Recommendation: strong buy.

Wonderful game, watch out for crashes

In my first play session on an iPad 4, I had a number of crashes. I'll be eager to play some more after the stability improves a bit.

Superb return

For those of us old enough to remember the 80's and late nights hunched over their ZX Spectrum, Mike Singleton's classic Doomdark's Revenge is now available on your IPad! It's exactly as you remember it with its iconic graphics and compelling game play for anybody who likes strategy/adventure games. The back story is a rich world which follows the events of the original game Lords of midnight and will not disappoint. This game is tremendous value and one that begs more plays after months. Travel around the Icemark through the eyes of Luxor and other lords you recruit as you build allies and armies before the inevitable clash with Shareth the Heartstealer. If this wasn't enough, there's also the small matter of Luxor's son who is missing and under the spell of Shareth, somewhere in the Icemark. Perhaps the most satisfying aspect of the game is the way the developer is so approachable and quick to interact with players online. This is a work of love.i can't recommend this game highly enough.

Singleton's Return

A worthy sequel to a groundbreaking early game.

A classic springs back to life!

Excellent update to what remains a simple but hugely enjoyable strategy game.... The adventure almost inevitably climaxing with Shareth appearing out of the fog with her legions of Iceguard and bands of treacherous Dwarves, Giants and Fey. On a more practical note, the ability to group lords was particularly welcome. And the inscription to Mike Singleton, inscribed upon one of the northern temples, was an understated, but rather touching moment.
