Slow but steady.

Games slow pace makes coming back easy. It's not a game where I have to sit and watch it constantly.
How do you get to the next age?

I love this game but how do you get to the next age I've been playing this game for five months now and I'm still stuck on the Bronze Age. Do you have to win ur the biggest war city in the Fertile Crescent cus if it is plz make ur and Susa easier to defeat and to buy crowns is so expensive what the heck is wrong with this company . If you don't fix these problems I have with this game I'm going to delete it so for now I'll rate this game two stars.
Rotating buildings

I’ve been playing this game for a few months now, and it’s GREAT!!! I just have one issue: not being able to rotate buildings! The town center and every other building are always facing 1 way or another. It would be nice to rotate for aesthetics

I was enjoying the Stone Age and wanted to go further with that, but it pushed me into the Bronze Age in order to do much of anything. I was able play for about an hour before it began imposing pay-to-play delays on every possible action. The old sage who advises you is constantly reminding you that life would be so much better with a purchase of crowns from the cash shop. Just to make sure you get the point, there’s a big crown in the upper right flashing constantly. But hey that little Bronze Age civilization ain’t exactly gonna fund itself. It has some rather odd limitations. For example, the advisor keeps pushing me to build The Pyramids, but my village hasn’t even been able to afford a 4th straw house yet. For some reason these Bronze Age people are unable to build a fence long enough to surround their tiny village. I guess it’s the PvP strategy and balance that important for this game to work, maybe the rest doesn’t really have to make much sense.

Battery hog; pay to play

15 minutes of playing in WIFI(!) drains 15% of my battery. Why?! Otherwise a fun game! But be prepared to spend a fair chunk of money on a monthly basis to keep up, like a subscription. Graphics and detail are incredible, good team atmosphere.
