Just as other reviewers have claimed the app does not work on cellular as claimed.

You can do NOTHING without buying the app. Literally nothing. Just make it a paid app so I am not wasting my data! Like make one DNS (google or dyn) free and custom costs money. Greedy developer, steer clear.
Only works when open

Only works when you have the app open or in multitasking, so won’t work for me
