DJI Virtual Flight Reviews

Regardless of logging in this app has me logged out and starting from scratch every reboot. If I close the app out I must log in and do ALL the tutorials AGAIN, e v e r y t I m e ? I log back on. It’s teaching me a lot but not saving my progress is disenchanting and inefficient.

Login is Broken 2

Just like the other person posted titled Login is Broken, I experienced the same thing! Captcha authentication is broken. To explain what we mean: After you enter your password, there is an attempt to validate that you’re not a bot by presenting you with a rectangular Captcha screen that superimposes a 4 digit alphanumeric code with a colored background with a field to the left of it that allows you have to enter the values being presented. But every time you enter the correct information, it says password error. EVERY SINGLE TIME, no matter how simple the 4 digit code that appears. I tried restarting the App, tried reinstalling, the same thing happens consistently! Thus, you cannot get passed the login screen. Fix your App! I’m using the latest iPhone 7 Software version 14.4.2.

So i got the v2 googles and controller! Unfortunately the app never connects the googles so i cant use the app! No matter what i did i wasnt able to connect them at all. Hope they fix. After paying $800 plus i should be able to use the app!

Controller keeps switching

Buggy. Ive been trying to use my DJI FPV controller with the app in mode 2 to practice manual. However for some reason after I pick up speed in the sim the yaw switches from the left stick to the right stick and swaps with the roll in the right stick. Somehow mid flight the controls switch over and it makes it very confusing to fly.

It was nice of DJI to attempt a tutorial for there FPV drone, but it doesn’t accurately represent flying the FPV drone in any of its modes. The FPV drones takes practice in manual mode this all can’t really provide

RE: UPDATING worked! I wish the Virtual Flight app told me that though. 4/5 until they add a update controller pop up to the VR Flight app. I can’t get through basic Training because my joysticks won’t do anything. It shows both my googles and controller are connected, but when it’s showing me how to fly up nothing happens. I have tried every Controller configuration (1,2&3) still no luck. I just bought this drone yesterday and I wanted to put a couple hours on the VR before my first real flight please help! Actually the joysticks don’t work in any menu but the other buttons do! Why?!?

This app ok for what it’s worth. Maybe DJI will update and fine tune this app soon. Also needs control for brightness adjustments and maybe some tactile touch features. Overall it a cool app to prepare for future flights.

App crashes 100% of the time

This software is useless. It crashes as soon as the controller is added. DJI is completely unresponsive in how to fix this. Makes the drone itself useless cause I’m not going to fly a $1300 aircraft without simulation first. Such a waste of money and time.
