It works again! Amazing control over the motor strength and other functions of the Ronin-M gimbal. It is extremely valuable to monitor and tweak these settings while out in remote locations, and this app is part of what sets DJI apart from its competitors in this market. Love it.

Works well with my Ronin M. Haven't had any connection issues. Easy to use and I can even change my settings to calibrate. Great job DJI!

The app works but it's soooo ugly and there is no tablet optimized version. Please fix, DJI. It isn't 2008 anymore.

Finally I got my hands on the DJI Ronin M and satisfied isn't enough to explain how helpful this product and app is to my business.
DON'T UPDATE if you have Ronin-M

With the Ronin-M, every time you return to the home screen or put your phone to sleep, the next time you open the app it thinks it's connected to the Ronin-MX. At this point any adjustment, including autotune, completely ruins your settings. I'm still trying to get my Ronin-M back to the way it performed before this.

The app is great when it works. When it's connected everything works correctly and instantly. The app connects very fast. The problem is it disconnects from the Ronin every time your phone goes to sleep or you go away from the app. you then have to close out of the app and open it again, reconnect the Ronin, and pick up where you left off. it doesn't look reliable in front of clients. for how much money you pay for dji products, I would expect more reliability out of their apps.

It's pretty good, as I use it for car videos, I have the stiffness set very high. Just make sure to not set it too high, or else the ronin will vibrate.
