When u assign a sample to the pad it gets deleted when u exit the app. And you have to re assign all the samples again.

It isn't clear in the description that ONLY eight (8) samples are included with the app--the user must provide the sources (such as from recordings), to assign to the other pads. So, I just paid .99 cents for eight (8) samples--a disappointment. The app should include a larger pool of samples, say, 40, if it's ever going to compete with other apps in this arena. Nevertheless, this app may be perfect for anyone whom has never used a sampler in their life, given its barebones approach.

I finally just paid the $2 bucks to see if I could tweak this to work as a sampler in gigs! So I made 8 samples with words too, "Poppin bottles in the Ice" but there is no way to crop it and when u hit the pad, there is hesitation! So I went in and cropped each word sample with it starting instantly with Audacity and re-synced, but there is still a slight hesitation. So when you tap to the beat, it's off! This needs instant start on touching of the pad to work, after that I would give 5 Stars, but now it's useless unless your just doing horns not on the beat! I have Djay and would rather just use that as it is instant startup on the Cue point you set! Just wish there was more than one in Djay! That's why I was hoping I could make this work! Oh well, maybe they can fix it on the next update!

Best app I've found to quickly and easily play back samples from your existing library. Simple and usable -- needs a few UI tweaks to get to five stars but I'm using it frequently.

This looked to be exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be able to program my own sounds to pads. But like many other programs, the problem is with latency. There is too much of a delay after striking the pad before the sound plays. This makes it useless if used on stage with other instruments. I can't say I feel completely ripped off since you pay for what you get. This was a $2 app that performs like a $2 app. I'm still waiting for someone to come up with an app that has an interface like the one this one has, but an app that has the latency issues solved.

Would be nice if dj sampler had a horizontal view of the app because I have the numark idj3 mixer it has an iPod dock to play and view your iPod songs horizontally
