The return of the most fantastic eggventurer of all time, with gorgeous HD graphics and glorious gameplay. Lead Dizzy on his ultimate quest to awaken Daisy and bring peace to the Yolkfolk.
The eponymous egg-shaped have-a-go hero returns in familiar form, complete with red boxing gloves and his trademark rolls and somersaults as he ventures forth on an eggciting journey into a magical world packed with collect-and-solve puzzles. As ever, his friends, the Yolkfolk, are in trouble and need saving from danger. Our hero in a whole shell’s girlfriend, Daisy, has been trapped in mysterious castle while our hero has been locked in an underground dungeon by Rockwart the troll on orders from Evil Wizard Zaks.
By running, rolling and somersaulting around the fantastic kingdom of Keldor, Dizzy’s adventure takes him throughout the magical land, exploring underground caves, leaping and bounding into the tree tops and bouncing all the way up in the far away clouds to assist Saint Peter in front of the Pearly Gates.
Fall in love with Dizzy all over again, whilst helping him on his quest to rescue his beloved Daisy from the castle ... get set for eggsplosive and eggstraordinary eggventures once more!

Great but Short

I downloaded on day one and finished it in a couple hours of play over a couple days. Having played a few but never finishing any on the C64 (fanatsy dizzy & treasure island) i found it a bit short but a was happy to play it and enjoyed it immensely, brough back old memories i word to the codemaster, i do hope you make more of these, price was right, when i downloaded openfeight was not working but, this patch is supposed to fix that.

My head is spinning. Great to have this game again after so many years playing it on the CPC 464. I hope Codemasters release more games like this. Great price too!

Upon opening up Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, I was instantly greeted with open arms by a quite love able character. Crisp, clean graphics and eggcellent sound to accompany me on my journey. Hats off to Codemaster and DNA Interactive (subsidiary of DNA Dynamics) Fantastic!!! DNAD

Horrible controls

This game is great but all impression is spoiled by ugly control scheme. For proper touch controls you need to map finger movements, taps, swipes etc to Dizzy movements on screen. But now it looks more like simple port of old game with changed graphics only which was made in big haste and without any creative ideas how to adapt it properly to touch screen. Really shame for people from Big Red Software, who stand behind this port and original title from 1991 - they could do it MUCH better!

This is a cool and beautiful game and it brings a lot of memories from my childhood. I played Dizzy series on my ZX-Spectrum 20 years ago however I remembered almost of all puzzles I've faced now just playing it. I rated this game with 4 stars because authors took the old scenario, old tricks and puzzles and just created a new look and style, nothing more. Also I guess the game is overpriced for such work.

game looks nice but its too short - finished in a few hours. after that game starts from begining. its not the same as on NES :(
