Dized is used next to a physical tabletop game and it truly is your friend at the table that tells you how to play. You can forget about reading the rulebook, with Dized you can start playing immediately and learn the game as you play!
Dized has consistently failed to live up to their promises from their Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns. The latest app renders app completely useless. It launches a black screen and nothing happens.
No response to my support request. Stopped working blank screen. Original backer. Very disappointed
I am a long time user of Tabletop Simulator and two of the questions that are constantly asked are: - Can anyone teach me X boardgame? and - What games can I play solo? This boardgame companion might be what users of boardgame VTTs really need, adressing both. Unfortunately it’s still in its early stages, but if a few hundred titles are added with tutorials than it might become something indispensable to any hobby gamer.
I will search, I will find you, and I will donate to whatever you are up to. This app is good.
There seems to be no way to exit the Login screen short of a reboot of the phone.
This was truly a good idea. Sadly they no longer seem to be working on this project. Three tutorials in how many years? We want tutorials not an app with a bunch of rule books.
Just used this to GM a game of ICECOOL and the walkthrough / game running was excellent. We could start playing without needing to read the rules, excellent for non-readers. The turn by turn instructions that took us all the way through the game were well thought out with actual voice acting to keep the kids engaged. Might not be so great for more complex games but for younger kid games this seems just about perfect.
