I remember playing this waaaaay back. The HD is nice, which I gather is from another update along the line. The auto battle makes the grind aspect of this game/post-game playable on mobile and is an amazing addition. The item world can still screw you over with it’s randomness but we worked through it before, I’m glad it’s still 100% random. I also wish more games were released like this with NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS!???
If you liked FF Tactics, try this.

The sort of turn based strategy RPG with customisable parties of levellable customisable characters in the vein of FF Tactics is hard to find. Disgaea is arguably the flagship franchise of the genre. It’s very good. This is an excellent port that was clearly optimised for mobile.

Let me start by saying I’m a huge supporter of NIS. I love the fact that they are bring they’re games to the mobile platform. I love Disgaea 1 that’s not why I’m rating it 2 stars. My only complaint and it’s a huge one is why can I not turn the audio off. If I turn it down it stops all other audio (no podcasts, no music) forcing me to sit in silence if I want to leave the game on Auto while I do other things. Please fix this.

Well the game is alright to some standard but for the most part it makes no sense at all when the main character is fighting a enemy that the enemy just ignores and goes straight for them like wow I played the original never have they done that another is every time I go to character creation no try to make a ninja and go to genius start bill force closes another one when geo says invincible and anyone on the square color can’t die yea worked on one stage but when I go to another my characters die why is that cause someone doesn’t know the meaning of we there is color geo you touch your invincible but apparently guess not and are screwed um let’s see I’m not saying this cause I feel the game is cheating oh no I’m saying this cause I remember that the game didn’t override and just let enemy only have invincibility

It needs to be rated for at least 12+ it has mild language/ a few curse words but I love the game 5 stars all the way !!!!
Crashes when cloud save

No problems on iPhone version but the game crashes when trying to retrieve my cloud save on ipad
Need some help with the app

All of the sudden lost all the sound to the game. I have restarted my phone and updated it just in case but my other apps are working just fine for volume. I have also checked the in game settings just to be sure but no matter what I do I still don’t have volume. Is there anyway to fix this? Besides that I very much enjoy playing this game on my phone due to the auto battle feature and battle combat speed up. The console versions don’t have those abilities so it makes it much easier to play the game time wise.
Game will not install !!

I’m. So excited for this game but it won’t install. I have tons of room on my phone. I have deleted and tried to re install several times. Will support or someone please advise a fix. Thanks !
It’s a really good game, but the auto-battle just ruins it.

Disgaea has always been about the grind. You had to grind for the alternate endings, grind for Aetna mode, grind to world boss 100. The problem is... well: Auto-battle makes it so you don’t actually have to play the game. Now the game is fun, and I don’t mean in that “it gets better” sense, but I can’t think of a single justification for actually playing 150+ maps instead of letting the AI do it. This isn’t the cutting edge of tactical play anymore. It’s a port of a ~20 year old game. There are better options. And you can enjoy those options while letting the AI play for you. Or you could save 30 bucks and buy current-gen tactical games on Steam. Heck, you can probably pick up D4 for that price. Val’s a better overlord anyway. Yeah, I said it! SARDINES!!!
