Worked good for about a week. Now it will not discover the receivers and it does nothing. The lite version is still working but it only operates one receiver.

I am a commercial AV installer and have downloaded this app over a hundred times at different locations. It is ideal when you have multiple receivers in a rack for a switcher system or want to control multiple receivers in a venue from one central location. The key is to connect the receivers to your network with Ethernet cables or a deca unit via coax, and make sure your iPhone/iPad is on the same network WiFi. I also suggest that you assign static IP addresses to your receivers by going to advanced IP settings and typing over the receivers last IP address digits (with the same or new digits). Having said all that, the latest update to this app has messed up everything. I have had several clients contact me this past week that the app stopped working with the latest update. This happened a few years ago, but was fixed fairly quickly with a new update. Until they come up with a fix for this one, I am advising other clients not to get the update, and always set iPads not to do automatic updates.

New version doesn’t work for me

Worked just fine before the new version. I had the IP addresses of the receivers on my network set to static so I never had any problem. The new version will not find my receivers 99% of the time and it won’t remember them for next time when it does manage to find them. I used to use it on a regular basis, but now it is worthless. Update: I just discovered you can go into the settings in the settings app and enable manual configuration. Now I can enter my IP address and use the app.

Great before the 5.0 update

The app used to work great. If you had an old version, DON’T update it. The app now keeps deleting the receivers i manually add and doesn’t discover all of my receivers automatically leaving some receivers not on the list and making changing the channel very time consuming.

Broken in latest update

This app used to work flawlessly, instantly connecting to my online DTV receivers. Now the app never finds my receiver upon opening. It seems to find them after 3 or 4 “refreshes,” but this is a marked and unwelcome change from the prior version. Yes it now looks like the newest generation of DTV remote, but, honestly, who cares? Function trumps form every time and the app no longer works nearly as well as prior versions. I can not recommend it until functionality is restored.

Latest Update Killed a Great App

I’ve used this app for years and highly recommended. The latest update works well once it “discovers” your receivers but often struggles to find them, frequently never discovering. Also has to rediscover receivers if app is closed and reopened. Highly prefer app when it remembered the receiver IP addresses. I use FING to find those addresses.

I need the old version

I need to can setup manually my receiver like the version free of the app. The previously version can do that. How can I do to install the old version

New update will not work. I adjusted settings and still nothing. Lite works fine but doesn’t have all the options that the full version has. Disappointed after I paid for the full version.

This was with out a doubt one of the most used apps on my phone. Since the upgrade it is the least used app on my phone. I, like many others, was use to the actual remote layout on the app, now I have no idea what their trying to do. The button configuration is completely different, features on the old app have been removed. They took a perfectly good app and SCREWED IT UP! way to go! Someone should be fired for this mistake!
