Better than Scribble!

I like taking notes with my Apple Pencil, because the handwriting motions help me retain information better than just typing things. However, Scribble was just a massive headache (wouldn't recognize clearly written parentheses, capital letters, etc.) I found Selvy through a Google search for alternatives, and I've been MUCH happier. Four stars, because I still feel like there could be some other improvements made (like shortcuts and some letter/symbol recognition things), but overall I really like it. Wrote this whole review with my Apple Pencil and Selvy. :)

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to use the pencil to write. Using the iOS Scribble is too limited. I love using this to enter text. Only problem is I lose the ability to use emojis. Not great.

Surely this is a great option for an iPad users. Why bother this when there’s built in scribble? Because there’s much more languages than what Apple supports with Scribble. The app supports many different languages. Scribbling Korean and Japanese with this keyboard is a great experience… only when it is full sized keyboard. The problem is the keyboard on the iPads has numeraous layout issues when it is in floating mode. This makes overall experience unenjoyable. This is surely a hidden gem, but still has many rough sides.

iOS 15.1.1 I wasn’t using it daily, but i just tried today… no go! Developer doesn’t have any contact info on their website either. Their link goes to Apple and doesn’t give a good way to report issues. Too bad… second script keyboard I’ve had go bad.

It's uncomfortable because my finger is recognized. I hope you can set it up so that only Apple Pencil can recognize it.
No Privacy AT ALL

Enabling this app requires you to allow transmission of ALL info EVER typed or scripted to the developer including but not limited to security info, financials, credit card info, etc. TERRIBLE.
