Love this but...

defheart

My three year old loves this, but I'd be willing to pay a little bit for it if there were more dinosaurs. Within 2 minutes he was asking for T Rex, triceratops and stegosaur...

I think...

The monster masher

You should make it so on the ground you can see baby Dino's like t-Rex's or triceratops and then see the flying ones also! It's a great Idea and me and my son love it! But really one dino can only entertain soo long! I think it also should have little paragraphs about the Dino that you find!

Need more dinos

Definitely a great idea but need more than one dinosaur

Need more Dino's and maybe Dan's voice!

Our 21/2 year old absolutely loves to watch Dino Dan, but currently Direct TV & Viacom are at an stalemate and we have lost the 2 channels he watches and of course that means no Dino Dan. I've purchased the 1 measly season available on iTunes and have some saved on tv, but that's going to get old quick. I thought The game was going help since a two-year-old won't understand why he can't watch any new episodes. The problem, as has been noted by many other parents, of only having the one Dino...he gets bored with it 30 seconds! The TV show along with books, Dino toys and other educational Dino games has helped him to learn by sight and word about 15-20 Dino's, so if a 2 year old cant notice within 30 seconds that's there's no other Dino's in the app then I'd imagine a 4 year old wouldn't even bother with it after one try! Solution? Add in the most recognizable Dino's & have Dino Dan set missions telling (verbally) children to photograph certain Dino's for -----(insert your child's name) "Field Guide"!!! Once the photo is taken allow the child to go to "Dino Benjamin's" Field Guide, maybe have a quick word game to help identify the Dino you've just got a pic of, then show the guide page with Dino name on top and photo under, then have Dan read Dino facts to the child while having the words appear on the page at same rate as he speaks!!! Then have two icons, back to mission control to collect the name of next Dino to find or to play a word/pic matching game. What do you guys think???

Good idea

This game is a good but it could use some expansion. My 3 year old likes looking for the dinosaur but there is only one. Since it was free I can't complain much. My boys love Dino Dan so I would be willing to pay for the game if they improved the content.

Nice idea, but has a big bug

This app is a great idea, but as many others have noted, there is only one flying dino and that makes for a funny use-once-for-30-seconds gag app, but not more than that. More importantly though, on my phone (iPhone 3GS) the game's buttons are too big and I only see half of them on the screen. Also, the info-screen is half-way cut off. There is a problem with recognizing or adjusting to the screen resolution in this version. Looks like this could be the iPad version installed on an iPhone. :-(

Cool idea, but boring for my 3 YO

As others said, gets boring quick with only a single pterodactyl. A similar dragon exists with much interactivity. Hoping for an upgrade after hearing the feedback!!

My little brother likes it so much he likes to play it

Good idea

Good idea, my kids thought it was cool but lost interest quickly. They wanted more Dino's but they cost money, also I'm not a big fan of letting my 5 year old hold and move around with the iPad, it would be much more fun on the phone. Basically it uses the camera you look around and up and you will see it flying around and you can take a pic.

30 sec app

Only comes with one Dino. If you want more Dinosaurs you need to pay for each one and then you need to print out something for it to even work. I don't recommend this app unless you want to waste your time and money.
