Excellent teaching tool & Fun!

MathManVC

I've been using DigitWhiz for several years in my middle school classroom. My students really like it—they especially enjoy the games where they get to compete with other students. As a teacher I really like the mastery reports. I see significant progress, particularly mastering challenging skills like operations with integers and combining terms. Highly recommended!

Wow. I didn't think this would be much fun but it is!

My grandma loves to use this!

LoveshisGma

When my grandma is sitting in the basement with her "friends" she loves to break out the iPad and play math whiz for hours. I hope, since she's Chinese, I can enter her in the senior mathlete competitions soon with how much mathwhizzing she likes to do.

Exciting, motivational

5/6 teacher

You know it's a great app when your students download it on their own devices and play at home. Students love seeing how fast they begin to master skills. As a teacher I love that I can check on each student's progress. Earning individual and school awards makes it even more motivational!

What even is this? Sure, it was meant for kids 8+, but THAT's what turned me off. I have plenty of experience with games, and basically, 8+ is synonymous with "kid's game". This one is half an example of that. Mostly ignoring other demographics, it leans a lot closer to young kids. Sure, some of the graphics are okay, and the way the games are played is tolerable, but there is pretty much no animation, with only three frames on the partner character, a common sign of a poor game unless used in RPGs and such. Also, you can tell there is barely any antialiasing, making a lot of the graphics look pixely. While I don't mind this if it's used well (such as in Homestuck), the graphics in this game kind of need to be anitaliased, given that they're mostly either solid colors or gradients. Gradients in themselves, unless used JUST right, such as in a background, are often signs of sloppiness as well, so be careful with those. Overall, improve the game's look and feel a little, and then we can talk.

This has helped with math and teach me to be confident. It also a fun way to learn and I never have a problem being on the app for 50 mins straight.

This game has helped me introverted on all of my math skills that I haven't gotten or have lost . This is a great game for people that don't get math. This helps you get to the spots you need in life .

Better than I thought.

This app is great! Before I thought it didn't teach you anything, but it does. Get this app! ( p.s. this is like elementary school math to middle school app)
