If you're old enough to remember Qix (pronounced "kicks") by Taito released in 1981, it's exactly the same concept. Claim blocks of area by drawing lines but stay away from the bad guys. In this version you're a lazy archeologist assistant that wears hats to protect you from a mummy and his friends including garden gnomes (no I'm not kidding). As you dig your way down you get different environments and enemies like slimes in the sewer. Despite the kitsch, it's playable but the controls are a little touchy. I'd say buy it if you're really bored.

The play is great and it's a bit cheeky which make even more entertaining. And if you just can't wait to collect coins to spend in the store the biggest purchase is very reasonable!

I agree with the other reviews very similar to qix, and it can be challenging at times. However, the storyline is very short and I finished the game in a few hours and now it's just repeating the same levels I've already played. At a certain point there isn't anywhere to go in the game. I regret purchasing the game since I normally don't buy games, this ended up being not worth the 2.99

Really looking forward to this game, but after installing on iPad 1 it started loading, then went to startup screen. Tried multiple times, same result. Deleted excess baggage to make sure there was room (surely 6 GB would be enough) and same thing happened. Powered down and powered up, still unable to get the game to load fully. Screen says Dug! And shows loading bar, then two seconds later it goes black, then shows the regular screen with apps etc. Would be nice if it worked, but as is it was a waste of money.
