Problème du dark mode à moitié résolu...

- le dark mode qui présentait un défaut depuis la mise à jour précédente, est résolu dans la mesure où nous pouvons lire les mots enregistrés... Sauf que vous l’avez résolu en SUPPRIMANT totalement le dark mode... donc c’est pas vraimment une résolution et c’est très dommage parce que ce dark mode automatique est vraimment une innovation qu’il faut suivre... Mais bon... c’est mieux que ne pas être capable de voir ses listes enregistrées... J’espère revoir le dark mode un jour mais sans défaut cette fois. À part cela, mon avis reste le même au sujet du dictionnaire: Excellent dictionnaire et même le meilleur de la langue française mais : - J’espère voir la prononciation phonétique des noms propres puisqu’elle est disponible pour les noms communs déjà. - J’espère aussi revoir les mots composés sous la rubrique "Locution" comme dans l’ancienne application.

Ouvrage formidable et super utile. Je le trouve très complet. J’ai été agréablement surpris d’y trouver même des noms propres. Malheureusement une petite lacune: à la différence des mots communs, il manque la transcription phonétique aux noms propres.

I would really like to thank the designers and developers who made this app. Every feature shows that a lot of thought has been put into it, that I wish other apps can learn from. As an intermediate French learner, I especially like the ability to look up new words I see in the definition by just clicking on them, as well as the ability to go back and forth between history entries. The idiomatic usage section is also very comprehensive and greatly appreciated. Oh, and the fuzzy matching that allows me to look up a word that I may have misspelled is tremendously helpful!!!! This has made my learning process much easier and more enjoyable. It is definitely worth every penny of its price. Thanks again!!!!!

I am learning French by reading French ebooks, among other things. I literally cannot imagine how much more difficult it would be to learn French without this app. It is much more convenient than a regular dictionary because you can cut a word from the ebook/article/whatever, then paste it into the search bar of the app. That is MUCH faster than using a paper dictionary. The word is almost always in the dictionary -- with French definitions, usage, verb conjugations, special usages, .. You can look up a verb from any of its forms. I.e., you do not need to know the infinitive. There are a few small gaps, but overall this really sets the standard for a well-designed dictionary app. I only wish I could find similar apps for other languages. A VERY good value.

It is nearly identical to the "Robert for iPad" app that this developer was selling 3 years ago and dropped just to be able to charge $8.99 for a "new" app. Nearly identical, but in fact slightly inferior: The "Robert for iPad" contained some graphics. For example, the entry for a country would provide the country's flag and a couple of maps. This "new, improved" app got rid of this kind of material. I really regret purchasing it since, by the time I actually move on to iOS 11, the developer will probably have come up with a new app replacing this one, a new app with even less content, needless to say.
