Dictate + Connect Free offers everything that Dictate + Connect does, but limits each single dictation to a length of 30 seconds instead of 24 hours. It also manages no more than 5 dictations at the same time.

Dictate + Connect offers an optional service named "Connect". With Connect, your transcriptionist can easily report the state of your dictation, right in your dictation list. You can test the Connect service free of charge for up to 30 days. After that, the Connect service is available as a paid subscription with a 1-month period at $4.99/month. The subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The payment for your initial Connect subscription will be charged to your iTunes Account at the confirmation of your purchase. Your account will be charged for subscription renewals within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions, including turning off auto-renewals, by going to your iTunes account settings after your initial purchase. It is not possible to cancel an active subscription before the end of its current period. When you purchase a subscription, any remaining part of your free trial period will be forfeited.

And I have used a lot! Tons of features, plus I have noticed the voice/sound detection is very good given its the iDevice equipment doing the work. The engine driving the voice activation feature works very good. Loaded with export options with encryption. The only thing I would say negative is it is not the most intuitive app to figure out. Needs a ergonomic and control revamp to make usage easier. The UI requires a re-vamp, other then that, it’s PERFECT!

Excellent tool. I use it to practice for the conferences I deliver. Excellent connectivity to dropbox to keep in store past presentations and to retrieve them when needed.

It had been a good app. Good voice quality and fairly easy functionality. But the developer seems to stop uptdating the app. Functions such as using it on Apple Watch is long awaited.

I have been using this application for a number of years. When I upgraded my iPad to an iPad Pro I bought the program again. This is easily replaced my $400 recorder and works great. Very easy to download for one of my assistance to transcribe.

Buyer aware - This app does not seem to support ‘speech to text’ dictation. I just lost almost $17 on an app I cannot use. What a shame.

As an attorney, I dictate daily. This program is simple, efficient and effective. I can dictate anytime and anywhere and immediately email the dictation to my secretaries for transcription. Awesome!! I love it! Great App!!!!
