I was looking for a hands free recorder for my phone. You know, open with my Bluetooth, initiate recording using Bluetooth buttons, stop recording using Bluetooth buttons. While driving or walking or whatever. This app advertises itself as hands free. There is nothing hands free about this app, other than it eliminates picking up a pencil and paper to record notes. LIKE EVERY OTHER VOICE RECORDER EVER MADE.

I am very pleased with Dictaphone, I have been able to record talks, and I like being able to type in the title of the talk so I can go back to.

Ignore the whiners, they are app illiterate as there is a simple feature to fast forward or rewind as far as you like. Just press and hold while watching the time code.. piece of cake! Great app for students, business folks and individual need to capture audio on the fly. Nice quality audio, much nicer than other apps. Love that it defaults to MP3 format and that you can PAUSE & continue RECORDING as many times as you like. Another awesome feature is the ability to send the recordings... obvious sound recordings can be large files so not practical by text msg or emails. This app has solved that issue, as it gives you the option to split up the audio files automatically for you and send them out. Great file / subject line naming, easy to view, I dentist and sort into proper order. Highly recommend this app!! Worth the price.

It was so easy! Now I record my own songs and storytelling! If not going for pro it will make sentimental gift. Easy to use. Next will try to export or combine or edit tracks. Great fun I also like cove app for easy grooving
